The Victron Solar Home System SHS 200 MPPT (PAYGo) is a smart solar charge controller and power distribution system designed for off-grid electricity access. It is used with solar panels and a battery to power DC appliances (12V).

This solution is also powerful enough for entrepreneurial customers to run a small business.The SHS 200 is primarily designed for Pay-as-you-go (PAYGo) operations. It is compatible with various PAYGo software platforms and includes a keypad for offline activation. PAYGo operators usually offer solar home systems to their customers through a rent-to-own plan on prepayments. Customers can get a SHS 200 against a deposit. Then they make regular payments by mobile money over few months or years to finally own the unit. A recharge code is sent to their cell phone by SMS after each payment. The SHS 200 becomes active only when the code is pressed on its keypad.
