Printed in Japon (Japan) These bamboo printed lithographs were popular in the 1930's and were also a style used at the 1932 Los Angeles Olympics. Images #2 and #3 show the small defects in this old bamboo poster. This is one of D'Ylen's famous images of a woman (somewhat without clothes) flying through the air with a box of Teinture Ideale in her hand. Around here are a group of various colored Japanese lanterns. This is a great piece for the collector who wants the more rare famous images of notable artists such as Jean D'Ylen. It would also frame up nicely for a piece of kitchen art because of its unique size.
