Coachwork by Henri Chapron hile Charles de Gaulle used a DS for all his travel requirements starting in 1958, it was only in 1968 that a DS limousine joined the fleet of the Elysée Palace : the Presidential DS 21. The outstanding car was delivered on 14 November 1968. The key specifications were for it to be longer than the Lincoln then used by the US president.
