Partitioning the Memory Card reserves a percentage of space for each type of recording. This is beneficial to ensure that the footage is not corrupted when power is lost during an accident, and also extends the lifespan of the sd card.  There are 3 Different Options for Partitioning, Type A, B and C. Partition Types: Type A- Optimized for Continuous Recording Type B- Optimized for Incident and Motion Detection in Parking Surveillance Type C- Optimized for Continuous and Incident Recording How to Change the Memory Partition  To alter the Memory Partition Setting; First, connect to the Dash Cam via WiFi or Hotspot. Select Dash Cam Settings > Memory Card Settings Select your preferred Memory Partition Click the back arrow in the top-left to save your changes. Another indication that the SD card has gone corrupt is hearing the device say “Memory Card Error.” If you believe that the SD Card is beginning to become corrupt, insert the card into your home computer.
